Vestmannaeyjar – a day on the Westman Islands in Iceland
One of the most memorable things I ever did in Iceland was to visit Vestmannaeyjar also known as the Westman Islands. I also used to be such a person, who has now been on the Reykjanes Peninsula more than 20 times, without really paying attention to it. When I was invited…

However, more recently it came on a Dutch tv show and all of a sudden there were pictures of this plane all over. Somehow I kept on forgetting to visit it on previous trips, so when we went back to Iceland for the seventh time this summer, we finally remembered to go and see the plane wreck.
