We finally got a decent wifi connection, so here are some highlight pictures we took over the past couple of weeks:
This is Hanging Lake near Glenwood Springs in Colorado. A short but steep hike through a narrow valley took us up to this beautiful place:
Pine Tree Arch in Arches National Park, Utah. There are over 2.500 natural arches in this park, we’ve only seen about a dozen of them…
This one’s taken in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Anto is sitting on the rim of the canyon that was shaped by the congregation of the Green and Colorado Rivers. Would you dangle your feet into the depth?
The canyon of canyons: the Grand Canyon. No need for additional information I’d say…
Fabulous yet crazy Las Vegas. What happens in Vegas …
Zion National Park is one of the most amazing parks in Utah. This is checkboard mesa, one of the dazzling rock formations along the park road:
Sunrise at Bryce Point in Bryce Canyon NP. Yet another canyon but so different from those we’d already seen. This park has thousands of hoodoos in the middle of a forest. Very spectacular!
Another sunset picture, this one was taken at Old Faithful geyser in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. This is the most famous geyser of the park since it’s quite predictable. We were lucky when we got here and only had to wait about 5 minutes. On average, she erupts every 90 minutes:
In a moment we’ll be watching a guy who is going to cross the Grand Canyon on just a cable. Apparently, he’s quite famous for doing crazy things like that and he has done the Niagara Falls before. We’ll see if he’s going to make it!
