Everest Base Camp trek: the movie!
The longer it has been that we’ve left Nepal, the more I’m missing it. If I wouldn’t have booked my trip to Tasmania already, I would’ve seriously considered going back there in 2016. I miss the mountains, I miss the people, I miss being breathless when hiking at 5.000 meters and I even miss the crappy food we got in the teahouses. But most of all, I miss being outside and feeling free. From the hours of film we have, we tried to select the best three minutes to give you an idea about our Everest Base Camp trek.
Enjoy!

wow, it’s really breathtaking. Are the colored flags prayers? I often see them in pics of that area but it’s never clear to me what they exactely are.
anto
Yeah they are. I always wondered about them too because you always see them in pictures.

Amazing!!! What an experience. I would love to be able to do this but I don’t think I can handle the weather

It wasn’t too bad actually 🙂 just above freezing!

Great video! I felt like I was there and it’s beautiful! What was the decorative gold spinning barrel-type things in the beginning of the video?
anto
They are prayer wheels, you have to spin them clockwise and it will bring you all the good!

This is something my husband is so wanting to do. We have been living in India the last two years so this is right on our doorstep, but Im a little nervous about the adventure, it seems really hard work? Your video is beautiful, very inspiring although the bridges look a bit scary 🙂

I hope you can make it, you’re relatively close and it’s well worth the trek!

So many people dream of climbing Mt. Everest, it’s so easy to see why, especially with videos like this! Nepal has always been on my list to travel to, hopefully it will be a reality one day!

I hope you can make it one day LeAnna!

My partner just read your website and was like ‘we twelve travel? what does that mean?!’, it took both of about 5 minutes of being confused to figure it out! It’s very early here.. (that’s a complete lie, its not at all, we’re just slow).
Amazing video though! Seriously cool, I’ve been trying to convince my partner to do this with me and after watching that she’s juts agreed so thank you!! 😀

Wow, incredible journey! No way in heck I could do something like that but kudos to you. This was so much better than just reading about it!
