Lake Daniell hike : an easy overnight tramp near Lewis Pass
One of the nicest easy walks in New Zealand that is suitable for everyone is the Lake Daniell hike near Lewis Pass on the South Island. Here you can easily familiarize yourself with hiking in New Zealand and sleeping in a backcountry hut without too much preparations and efforts. Hiking the Routeburn Track in New Zealand
The Routeburn Track is praised as one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, multi-day hike in New Zealand.
