Everest Base Camp Trek day 4: Namche to Mong-La
Everest Base Camp Trek day 4 – from Namche Bazar to the settlement of Mong-La Day four of the trek to Everest Base Camp – the day we’re going to leave Namche Bazar and with that, also civilization, or at least that’s what I’ve been told. Everest Base Camp trek day 3: Namche Bazaar to Everest View Hotel
In the previous edition of The Trail to Everest Base Camp, I told you how I struggled to get to Namche Bazaar and how the headache kicked in the night of our arrival at 3.440 meters. We leave straight after breakfast and the three of us are among the first ones on the track. We cross the Khumbu River various times across swing bridges and Jangbu promises us that before…

I live to share my stories and to create enthusiasm for the beautiful places I am seeing each time while exploring the world. Although I’ve written numerous posts about Nepal already, I feel like there’s so many stories left to be told. What it was really like to hike up to 5.364 meters above sea level and what it was like to spend 15 days hiking through some of the most amazing landscapes you will ever encounter on this planet. I’m going…
