    It’s time for another Mountainous Monday! Today we’ll share one that you may not have heard about and that is not too well known, but that Anto recently climbed and that achievement made her pretty proud… The Paternkofel  (German) or Il Paterno (Italian) is a 2.744 meter high giant located in the Dolomites in South Tyrol. During the First World War there were quite a bit of fights on the mountain, which resulted in a lot of (hidden) passages that will lead you right through the rocks.     Wow – that was a silent week on our blog. Somehow we just didn’t get around to posting and since we are no neurotics about this, it felt good to be “away” for a while … Wow – dat was een stille week!     Why oh why?

    People like to ask me why I bother to travel somewhere for a short time only. Go through all that hassle of flying/driving, just to be somewhere for a couple of hours/days. I’ve been on some crazy short trips over the last couple of years, I’ll admit that. Some examples: – Going to Paris for one night!
